The Faculty of Da’wah and Communication at UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau carries out activities for Strengthening Academic Integrity through Improving Research Capability for Lecturers. This activity aims to provide enlightenment and capacity building for lecturers on the quality of research as the main task of the profession to realize the tri dharma of higher education in the field of research. In this virtual activity, there are some leaders of the Faculty attending the program, namely the Dean of the Faculty of Da’wah and Communication, Dr. Imron Rosidi, S.Pd., M.A, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Institutional Development, Heads of Study Programs, Secretaries of Study Programs and Permanent Lecturers and temporary Lecturers of the Faculty of Da’wah and Communication.
In his speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Da’wah and Communication hopes that this activity is able to provide motivation and inspiration as well as strengthening the methodology for lecturers to produce good quality research. “The task as a lecturer is not only teaching, but also doing research. Therefore, doing research for lecturers is important. This is to support a lecturer’s career, as a condition for promotion and becoming a professor”. The activity, which was attended by more than 50 participants, was held for more than 2 hours. The speaker of this activity was Professor of Anthropology at Gajah Mada University, Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr. Irwan Abdullah.
